Memories in Threads Collections - including our "Simone" Square Photo Quilts - are the pride and joy of our collection. Featuring the clean and modern large square design, instead of highlighting loved ones clothing - it highlights images / photos of your choice, including kids drawings! How special is that!

We understand not always do you want to, or have access to loved ones clothing pieces to create a typical Memory Quilt, so by using lovely neutral tones of fabrics alongside images we create a deeply personal visual quilt for loved ones.

Our new Photo quilt boasts a clean and modern look with 13cm x 13cm finished squares as each panel finished with a lovely cotton border surrounding your images.

Each panel is ditch stitched in the square seams to the batting only - making your clothing top layer attached to the middle layer batting. Leaving the backing fabric free of quilting lines. We do not offer or complete full quilting through all layers.

Each quilt has one Cotton / Bamboo internal batting. Approx 2 to 3mm thick. Standard quilting batting internal. The overall weight of the quilt varies depending on garments used and the backing selected.

MATERIALS - 100% cottons as quilted design topper and backing

BACKING - 100% cotton crinkle effect in one of your chosen colours on the quilt.

the topper of your quilt and sits freely on the back, it is however stitched around the border showing through to the back.

Must provide high quality resolution photos - please note that the images with lower resolution and blurriness can be used if supplied, however the clarity of the final printed image may be the same if not worse once the fabric has been printed. The best images to use are high resolution files to get the best result. Printing on fabric does create a softness already, so an already unclear image will create a blurry image. No edits to photos will be made apart from lighting and print calibration. We cannot make edits to remove things from the image. Images are to be supplied in 1:1 scale square.

Each and every Memories in Threads Quilt created as a CUSTOM ORDER and this means that it is created just for you - as an individual and unique piece.

Upon completion you will receive a few studio photos of your finished item like below. Showcasing your stunning piece. It will then be packaged into a cloth dust bag for gifting.

You will be supplied with a photographed layout of the design so you can see the pieces laid out in the order it will be sewn. There may be times that we change things around when required, this could be due to fabric or trim quality or quantity or a design features that pop out screaming to be used etc. This of course is always conducted with full communication and disclosure to you each step of the way.

Please note our heirloom keepsakes are not suitable as toys and are decor keepsake pieces only. Not suitable for play or washing but to be a cherished Memory item. This item is unable to be machine washed. Spot cleaning only. Cool iron only if necessary due to different fabrics of clothing within the quilt being different compositions. Do not iron over prints / labels or personalisation.
