Shipping policy

SHIPPING
We ship Australia wide from Melbourne, and postage is made within 1 - 3 business days from the order and payment being received for READY MADE items, unless personalisation is ordered at check out - this will change the postage is made within 3 - 5 business days from the order and payment being received.
This is NOT including postage times. Please refer to custom order lead times information for production times on those items upon purchase on each listing. Usually custom lead times are approx 4 to 6 weeks from purchase. This doesn't include postage times.

Please contact us if you feel the combined postage price isn’t quite right on multiple purchases!

Our items are all shipped using Australia Post standard satchels unless communicated.


Our postage is for Postage and Handling Costs -

You are able to select STANDARD / EXPRESS AND SIGNATURE on each method at checkout. A weight gauge is associated with each item, and each goes by what fits in each satchel available at Australia Post and may not be reflective of actual weight.

These options are available at checkout and cannot be altered once the order is placed. For an alternative postage on custom orders please communicate with us so we are able to set up a CUSTOM LISTING with a tailored postage solution.

For Australian shipping you will be provided with shipping and tracking details once your item is ready for postage. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for Australian delivery, or 1 to 5 business days for EXPRESS Australian delivery. Please take note of the Express zones within Australia Post website – https://auspost.com.au/business/shipping/domestic-shipping/delivery-speeds-and-coverage as each area is different. Postage times, do NOT include our processing times as outlined above.
However this can only be a guide only. We can only make a guarantee to you that we will send within our time frames, and we cannot control the delivery of choice made by the carrier. This is out of our control unfortunately. We do our best to accomodate requests of deadlines.

At this stage postage is only available within Australia, please do contact us for custom price on postage internationally and for us to check the countries laws around the import of our items as there are restrictions with importing cloth dolls in some countries . Please do note that all duties and taxes are to be paid by the customer shall International orders be placed via a custom order. Please contact your local customs office for further info before making contact.

Please also note that the postage address provided and on file on PayPal/Afterpay is the one that it is required to be posted to. This is due to the terms and condition entered into with these payment service, we have no control over changing these details for postage. So please do check over your details before placing the order and completing the payment. We take no responsibility for the postage to the incorrect address listed within these services. If it is returned to sender due to this issue, we will require the customer to be responsible for the new postage charges to resend. Unfortunately there will be no refunds on missing / undelivered packages due to an incorrect address on file. If the item is returned to us, the customer will need to be responsible for postage costs to resend.

To ensure that your details are correct, please check the details at cart, as well as the confirmation email that will be sent to you upon your purchase.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have selected the right postage option for their needs. Shall you select the incorrect option for the item - an invoice for outstanding balance or refund for overpay will be issued. Failure to pay for the correct shipping at check out may risk your order being cancelled on our end.

We also cannot be held responsible for any damage made to the package during transportation. We take pride in photographing our items in their postage state as well as packaging images prior to postage. Please contact us in the event of an issue and we will address this with Australia Post and work alongside you to reach an agreement.

Customers are responsible for any parcels returned to us due to the following reasons
INCORRECT / INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES
NON COLLECTION FROM POST OFFICE FOR SIGNATURED ITEMS
If the parcel is sent back to us for any reason, and you would like the parcel resent this POSTAGE FEE will be at your EXPENSE. Shall you choose to not proceed with this new postage charge, the item will remain property of RubyBabyDesigns and NO REFUND or RETURN will be repaid.

SMALL SATCHEL - fits 2 mini mee dolls or 1 x classic / luxe doll or 1 x unicorn / horse.
LARGE SATCHEL - fits 1 x dinosaur, fits 1 x classic / luxe doll in a personalised carded case, 2 x classic / luxe doll or 2 x unicorns.
XL SATCHEL - fits most items within a purchase of approx 2 x dinos or 3 x classic / luxe dolls or 3 x unicorns. Or 2 x classic / luxe dolls in 2 x personalised cases.
